Building Worlds: From Minehutt to RenderPhoenix

Tracing the history of our studio from 2019 to the present: early community maps, visual packs, overcoming setbacks, and rebuilding for the future.

Building Worlds: From Minehutt to RenderPhoenix

Every creative studio has an origin story driven by curiosity and experimentation. Ours began in 2019 with a simple vision: crafting interactive worlds that inspire players.

The Minehutt Years (2019 - 2022)

Operating under the name Minehutt, we published our earliest maps and add-ons on MCPEDL. Projects like Banglamine City set out to showcase Bangladeshi architectural motifs inside open-world environments, while Zombiepolis explored atmospheric post-apocalyptic level design.

As our capabilities grew, so did our ambition. On 22 February 2022, we officially transitioned from Minehutt to RenderPhoenix, marking our commitment to creative technology and real-time art.

Resilience Through Setbacks

On 1 August 2022, RenderPhoenix suffered a severe security breach that compromised key social pages and primary communication channels. Rather than letting the incident end our work, the team pushed forward, continuing project releases through 2024.

Though team members eventually dispersed into higher education and independent software careers, the studio’s foundation remained strong.

Now in 2026, with Sabit Hasan taking the helm for our revival, RenderPhoenix rises once again—rebuilt from the ground up to craft the next generation of games and 3D experiences.
